Here's my cover of Beautiful Day. I used a Vox Tonelab SE with a Digitech Whammy in the effects loop for the pitch shift section. I created the backing track with Bono's vocals and I cut Edge's guitar out of the track...sorry Edge :)
Here's a webcam video of U2's Until The End Of The World. Playing isnt great, and the video is kind of boring as all you can see is my pedalboard and feet (sorry) The audio is crappy, its run into a mixer with backing track and then direct into my laptop webcam speaker. If you look closely at the 2:50 and 3:40 mark you can see my kittens chasing each other. ;)
Another attempt at a U2 Cover. I'm a pretty horrible slide player so i didnt use one for the solo. For this one I used my Epi Casino into a Digitech Whammy, Boss CS3 and TS9 Tube driver, then into my PodXT. All my delay and Vox AC30 amp sim from the PodXT.
Here's my attempt at a great U2 song. Ok i completely muffed up the solo but oh well. I used my Epi Casino into my rackmount with my Roland SDE1000 delay, CS3 compression, RC Booster and PodXT for the amp sim.
This is more of an experiment. I find with most Multi FX units the Overdrives and distortions sound a bit digital. This time i tried running a Vox Valvetone pedal in the effects loop of my tonelab SE. I found it made the sound a bit more organic. eh i could be wrong.
Here's another attempt at Elevation from the Vertigo Tour. My timing is off throughout, especially witin the intro and its Rough and Raw lots of mistakes. Gear used was my Epi Goldtop, Vox Tonelab SE, and a Custom made Fuzz pedal for the intro.
Must be getting sick of this song by now. Here's another version using a Tonelab SE for the amp sim, and delay. I used a few external pedals on this one: Boss CS-3, TS9 and a modded Boss GE-7. I used the first 2 pedals in the Tonelabs effects loop. I think i like the sound of this combination the best.
Another attempt at UTEOTW. This song is my Mount Everest. Maybe one day i will find a sound i'm happy with. Usual mistakes in this one. Gear used was only my Epi Goldtop and Tonelab SE
