My latest drum n bass track, except I recorded all the instruments I played as video and switch between them. Really cool! Play bass guitar, percussion, drums, synth and piano.
My latest tune from my next live set which will be performed in December '06. Ableton live is at the centre of the performance but not shown as the video is recorded on the built in camera on the Mac.
Out & About on Saturday 6th December 08 in Cheltenham. Filmed for www.afterdarkmagazin e.co.uk. My first go at presenting! ...I also edited the film and edited the sound. Made with Premier Pro CS3 and the audio was mixed in Logic 8.
The fourth out of five tracks in my December live set. All sounds are triggered live, no timeline sequence at all! Each synth/sound module etc is loaded with loops that can be switched on and off via the padKontrol. I also apply effects such as adjustment to filter cutoff to create the buildups.
Two of my favorite tracks out of the set I have prepaired for the 7th Sun Festival this weekend. Performed using Novation A-Station, Roland V-Synth, Roland JV1080, Mackie 1202VLZ mixer, Korg padKontrol and a MacBook Pro running Ableton Live.
A rehearsal of our 2nd track in our 2007 live set. I teamed up with Rezonate and we plan to begin playing this set with two gigs we are booked for in August. Dont forget to check out myspace.com/siytek
People have asked for more after bruce hornsby so here is my version of 'kiss from a rose.' I can play this better now and without music but I hav'nt had time to re-record and this version is close enough. Enjoy :)
My 2nd attempt at a tune using the SPDS to achieve a percussion bassed one man band. Again still in the early stages but an improvement on the last if your looking at what I did technically. If you prefer jungle or dnb you will prefer my other SPDS vid :)
Everyone knows me as an electronic music producer into synths and electronic sounds. Not many people know I have played piano for 10 years. Once again another video made at work when I had some spair time!
162bpm, just to show off the TD12 really. I put an extra 8 inch mesh head on for a 2nd snare. This track is a complete track, but due to a lack of MIDI interface when recording this video, I could only include the drum part. Complete tune to follow
My first ever live set at the 7th Sun Festival 2006. I had some audio issues due to the fact that I didn't get a proper sound check (couldnt get the time of day job to get there early enough) so the audio is shite. Watch this space for the '06 v2 set!
I cannot take credit for this, if you have not seen Kamoni's videos, and you like this, check them out! I used the same setup, Mac, Roland percussion pad and Ableton. I work for Roland and made this as a demo to sell the SPDS. As I said, if you want to see it done properly, check out Kamoni's videos!
