Japanese dance group Rhythm Sneakers break dancing at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo, Japan, Summer 2006. It looked like maybe they were practicing before the competition happening a few days later on the big Yoyogi stage. I have a little bit of footage from the competition which I'll try to post at a later date.

J-pop band Wakaba playing live on the street near Shibuya on a public holiday in January 2006. They had a large crowd, a large percentage of which appeared to be female.
Japanese singer Yumeca dressed in a cosplay maid outfit singing at Yoyogi Park. As you might imagine, she drew a large crowd. At about 1:50 into the video she starts dancing - you have to see it to believe it.
Japanese girl band Neko Hakushaku playing live at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo, Japan. The vocals are a little hard to hear because the girls were using tiny amps and also there were other bands playing nearby.
Japanese all-girl band Pistol Valve playing near Yoyogi Park in Tokyo, Japan. There were 8 girls in the band - 7 playing horns and one playing violin. Needless to say, they drew a big crowd.
This band is called "???????" - when you translate that, it's the name of a place "Sakura Shinmachi", but they use Sakushin.net for their URL, so I'm not 100% sure what they band/singer is called in English. Seemed like a fun guy - very interactive with the people watching on the street. I think he might have said they were from Osaka.
