SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- As star designer Ralph Gilles launches the redesigned Dodge Ram, he will also begin a new role. On Monday, it was announced that Trevor Creed, Chrysler's senior vice president for design, will retire at the end of the month and Gilles will take over as vice president for design for the Auburn Hills automaker Sept. 1.
